Growing up in Dorchester, Ontario Greg picked up the fiddle at age 7 and the rest, they say, is history. From winning 2010’s Most Entertaining Fiddler of the Year award at the Canadian Open Fiddling Championships to performing after 2018 Headliner Toby Keith at the Havelock Jamboree in front of 15,000 people, Greg and his band can handle stages small and large, with a show that combines bold new originals, classic covers, and some curveballs you’d never expect. Hayley Verrall is a driven, passionate and eclectic award winning country singer/songwriter from Burlington, Ontario. Hayley's voice has been compared to those of Patsy Cline and Roseanne Cash, a reflection of the distinct and pure tones she inserts into every melody she sings while providing superb self-accompaniment on guitar. Hayley`s original songs can be described as contemplative, yet bold and fun. Hayley is a consistent and welcome presence at pubs, restaurants, festivals and special events in Burlington and the GTA. In March, 2019 Hayley represented Burlington/Ontario in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee in front of music industry professionals at the North American Country Music Association, International and was awarded the NACMAI 2019 International Adult New Country Female Vocalist of the Year, Female Entertainer of the Year and Horizon Songwriter awards. Milton Show Choir
Milton Show Choir operates multiple show choir programs for kids in grade three through high school. Aside from having fun, MSC keeps busy by performing at community events, touring and occasionally competing. MSC choirs have been awarded Show Choir Canada national titles including best vocals, choreography & set design. Senior students recently returned from Walt Disney World Orlando where they performed for an enthusiastic crowd and also participated in master workshops under the direction of Disney professionals. The Finnegan School of Irish Dance has been teaching dance to children and adults in Milton since 2005. The goal of the studio is to provide instruction that encourages personal growth for every dancer in a supportive and inclusive environment. The studio strives to provide a positive setting for all dancers whether their interest lies in being a recreational student, a competitive dancer or a performer sharing their talents within the community. Canadian FireFighter Appreciation Day
Canadian FireFighter Appreciation Day (FFAD), founded in 2009 by Reebok CrossFit FirePower, is a team fitness challenge where athletes wear full firefighter bunker gear and air packs. Events simulate the physical demands of a firefighter’s daily job incorporating strategy, strength, endurance, and teamwork. Orange Snail Brewers is Milton's first and only craft brewery. The award winning brewery is owned and operated by two young Miltonian families and was started in 2015. Our goal is to produce great local and fresh craft beer while keeping Milton and Halton's heritage in mind with everything we do. We also feel it is very important to give back to local charity and community organizations.
